Want to be a part of one of the fastest growing beer trade publications? Liquid Bread is always looking for writers, photographers, copy editors and beer drinkers to help us cover the Bay Area beer scene.
Liquid Bread writers take charge in reporting, researching, interviewing and compiling information for feature stories, event coverage and beer reviews. Though different stories are subject to different requirements (a story on a brewery vs. a top 10 list of summer beers), writers must thoroughly vet and research their topic with the same journalistic integrity. Experience in journalism is necessary, but exceptions can be made for those with demonstrated knowledge of journalism writing and beer.
We love our photographers and their knack for aesthetics and composition are a necessary part of Liquid Bread’s dedication to exceptional photojournalism. Whether an event, a feature on a brewery, or a debut of a new beer; photographers are expected to deliver enough photos that capture the story the writer is trying to tell, while also showing a side that only photos can communicate. Experience in photography is a must; a background in photojournalism is highly preferred; and a demonstrated knowledge of being able to supplement writing with photography is necessary.
