SAN FRANCISCO
21st Amendment — A new canned IPA, Blah Blah Blah IPA is a double IPA brewed with nine different hop varietals, and flavored with “a firm grain bill of pilsner, golden promise, honey, wheat & vienna malts.”
Laughing Monk — The new neighborhood Bayview brewery releases their first batch of Bayview Gold brewed with chamomile grown in their neighborhood, this Thursday at 3 pm. It doesn’t get fresher than this.
SOUTH BAY
Santa Clara Valley Brewing — The South Bay brewery releases their Alviso Mills Hefeweizen this Thursday at a release party in their San Jose taproom. Described by the brewery as the perfect easy-drinking summer beer, with “aromas and flavors of cloves and bananas… a subtle hint of bubble gum on the finish. 5.6% alcohol by volume.”
PENINSULA
Alpha Acid — Hop over to Belmont where this Thursday, the guys at Alpha Acid are tapping their newest double IPA: The Big Dank Theory, a hop bomb hopped with Zeus, Citra & Simcoe.
OUTER BAY
Discretion Brewing — In honor of Independence Day, Santa Cruz brewery, Discretion Brewing, will be releasing their Free Day IPA on July 2. Described as having a hoppy aroma with “boozy citrus and stone fruit with chewy resinous notes,” the beer lands at 7.7 percent alcohol and 72 IBU.
