With the World Series over and Halloween behind us, San Francisco breweries are churning out new releases. Here is a breakdown of some new offerings from San Francisco breweries this week:
Cellarmaker – The SoMa brewery released two IPAs this week: Bangerang Rye IPA and Rodney Dankerfield, as well as their Questionable Origins #3 Pale Ale. The Bangerang Rye IPA, a re-release, clocks in at 6.9 percent alcohol and 68 IBUs, brewed with a large quantity of Motueka hops, and accompanied by Citra, Columbus, Nelson, Sterling, Amarillo and Summit hops. The brewery describes the beer as “big notes of briny watermelon, lime and some dank.”
Rodney Dankerfield Double IPA is brewed with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops, and is described as “super juicy with notes of pineapple, cantaloupe, orange and pine.”
Speakeasy – Slated for release this Friday, November 7, the Bayview brewery will be releasing the winning beer from their Pale Ale Competition, also dubbed “Rylan’s Pale Ale.” The brewery is hosting an event for the beer release from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm and will also have local eatery, Missing Link, serving up sausages.
Triple Voodoo – The third incarnation in the Stag Hop series, Triple Voodoo will be tapping a cask of their Stag Hop #3 Single Hop Pale Ale made with Citra Hops, dry hopped with Mosaic hops. The event will be at 4:20 pm on Thursday, November 6 at their Dogpatch brewery.
